MINISTRY INITIATIVES

We operate and partner with a variety of ministry and community services on a chapter level. Our national ministries initiatives are The Orchidettes Club (for teen girls) and Shoes for Orphan Souls.

​THE ORCHIDETTES CLUB
​
The Orchidettes Club is an entity that minister to high school age girls on the finer points of Christian womanhood. Orchidettes Clubs are forming under the leadership of chapters and colonies at various churches, schools and as community-based groups throughout the country.
​
The purpose of the Orchidettes is to provide young women with educational, vocational, civic, cultural and spiritual experiences. Orchidettes works on a five-fold structure in the areas of spiritual, social, service, education and exposure. To participate in The Orchidettes, contact the nearest chapter today.

SHOES FOR ORPHAN SOULS
Shoes for Orphan Souls® is the largest humanitarian aid project of Buckner International, a global Christian ministry dedicated to making life better for orphans, vulnerable children and families since 1879.
Our sorority is a charter member of the United Council of Christian Fraternities and Sororities, Inc. Founded in August 2006 by Visionary Founder Shirley K. Russell, UCCFS covers over 3000 members in 60 chapters across the country through the sharing of resources, leadership training and cooperative ministry.
